Universal Technical Institute offers two separate locations in Florida, with campuses in Orlando and Miramar.
At UTI Orlando, training programs include Automotive and Diesel. Motorcycle Mechanics Institute offers students the foundational training needed by technicians to work on motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and personal watercraft. Marine Mechanics Institute offers training for a career as a marine technician.1
UTI Miramar’s programs include Automotive, Diesel and Welding.
The Automotive Technology program offered at UTI Orlando and UTI Miramar will allow you to work on everything from simple engine systems to power and performance machines. You’ll get hands-on experience in the lab and even earn credit toward professional certifications.
The 45-week Diesel Technology program offered at UTI Orlando and UTI Miramar is designed to build your base knowledge from the ground up, covering topics like truck brakes and chassis, preventive maintenance, diesel fuel systems and more. Along the way, you’ll learn from passionate, experienced instructors and gain valuable hands-on experience in the lab.
The Welding Technology program at UTI Miramar allows students to get hands-on training needed for a career in the industry. In as little as 36 weeks, students learn the four main arc welding processes that can help them train to become combination welders.
Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando is a hub for motorcycle enthusiasts. MMI offers a one-of-a-kind Motorcycle Technician Training program, which includes a core program and manufacturer-specific training. If you have a passion for working on bikes and love brands like Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki and Suzuki, MMI is the place for you.
Orlando is also home to Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI). The 51-week Marine Technician Specialist Training Program is designed to teach you everything from inboard gas and diesel to outboard two- and four-stroke motors. You’ll also take a series of five, three-week manufacturer-specific courses on Honda Marine, Mercury Marine, Suzuki Marine, Volvo Penta and Yamaha Marine. MMI has 70 test tanks on campus, giving you plenty of opportunities to train on running engines!
