VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS IN FLORIDA
WHERE YOU’RE TAUGHT
UTI has two vocational schools in Florida, with campuses in Orlando and Miramar.
At UTI Orlando, training programs include Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology and HVACR Technician, which is coming to UTI Orlando pending regulatory approval. Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and Marine Mechanics Institute are located at the Orlando campus as well.
Motorcycle Mechanics Institute offers students the foundational training needed to work on motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and personal watercraft. Marine Mechanics Institute offers training for a career as a marine technician.
UTI’s Miramar trade school includes Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Welding Technology and Airframe & Powerplant Technician training programs.

DIESEL MECHANIC SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
The 45-week Orlando and Miramar diesel mechanic schools are designed to build students’ knowledge from the ground up, covering topics like truck brakes and chassis, preventive maintenance, diesel fuel systems, and more.7 Along the way, students learn from passionate, experienced instructors and gain valuable training experience in hands-on labs.18

HVACR TECHNICIAN SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
The 39-week Orlando HVACR Technician program helps students learn the ins and outs of maintaining and diagnosing heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration systems. Instructors with industry experience help students along the way.

WELDING SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
The Miramar Welding Technology program allows students to gain the hands-on training needed to pursue careers in the industry. In as little as 36 weeks, students are taught the four main arc welding processes that can help them train to become combination welders.

AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
The 18-month Airframe & Powerplant Technician program in Miramar is designed to teach students how to maintain, diagnose and repair various aircraft and powerplant components. No previous experience is required to attend, as experienced instructors build students’ knowledge from the ground up through hands-on application in industry-aligned labs.79
MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando is a skills training hub for motorcycle enthusiasts. MMI offers the 48- and 60-week Motorcycle Technician Training programs, which include a core program and manufacturer-specific training. If you have a passion for repairing and maintaining bikes and love brands like Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson® and Suzuki, MMI is the Florida trade school for you.
MARINE MECHANIC SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
Orlando is also home to Marine Mechanics Institute. The 51-week Marine Technician Specialist training program is designed to teach you everything from inboard gas and diesel to outboard two- and four-stroke motors.7 Students also take a series of five, three-week manufacturer-specific courses on Honda Marine, Mercury Marine, Suzuki Marine, Volvo Penta and Yamaha Marine. The Florida trade school has 70 test tanks on campus, giving you plenty of opportunities to train on running engines!
