UTI has three separate California trade schools with program offerings ranging from Automotive and Diesel to Welding and HVACR.* Our programs also include Wind Turbine, Industrial Maintenance, Airframe & Powerplant, and Robotics and Automation. AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

UTI’s Automotive Technology program is offered at three different campus locations in California: Long Beach , Rancho Cucamonga and Sacramento . In this 51-week program, you’ll take foundational courses that build your knowledge from the ground up, teaching you how to diagnose, maintain and repair different types of vehicles. This training also includes the three-week Battery Electric Vehicle Technology course where students will get the opportunity to train on specialized tools, technologies and equipment currently used to diagnose and service electric vehicles. After completing the core training, you can choose to move on to specialized training programs to take your knowledge to the next level.

DIESEL MECHANIC SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Diesel Technology program is available at all three of UTI’s trade schools in California. As a diesel student, you can learn diverse skills that apply to a wide range of industries including agriculture, oil, construction and anywhere diesel engines are found. Your courses will dive into topics like truck brakes and chassis, preventive maintenance, diesel engines, and much more, giving you a foundation of knowledge you can build on in the industry.

AUTO BODY REPAIR SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Collision Repair & Refinish Technology (CRRT) program is offered at UTI’s Long Beach campus. In this specialized program, you can learn the skills needed to reshape and restore a wide range of vehicles. Our curriculum was developed with I-CAR, a leading brand in the industry, to equip you with the skills today’s industry requires. As a graduate, you can earn valuable I-CAR certificates to distinguish yourself as a technician.

WELDING SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Welding Technology program is available at UTI’s Long BeachRancho Cucamonga, and Sacramento California trade schools. If you have an eye for detail and love to express your creativity, this could be the program for you. As a welding student, you’ll learn about the procedures and equipment required to use four different welding processes. Throughout your 36-week program, you’ll complete hands-on training in the lab using cutting-edge equipment, including VRTEX® virtual welders.

AVIATION MAINTENANCE SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Airframe & Powerplant Technician program is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in aviation. In the lab, they get hands-on experience with the same tools and technology used by technicians in the field and learn about topics like aircraft troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics, power plant lubrication systems and more. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply and test for Airframe and Powerplant FAA certification.79

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The 30-39 week Industrial Maintenance Technician program, offered at the Rancho Cucamonga campus, prepares students to work on machinery that powers many different industries, including solar, nuclear, gas and coal. They take courses on industrial heating and cooling, steam and gas turbines, and more.

ROBOTICS & AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Robotics & Automation program takes 51 weeks to complete and is offered at the Rancho Cucamonga campus. This program covers a wide variety of topics, including 3D design and manufacturing, industrial networking, and digital electronics and circuits.

WIND TECHNICIAN SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The Wind Technician training program is offered at the Rancho Cucamonga campus. Topics in this 30-week program range from renewable energy sources to advanced electrical theory, to climb and rescue and wind turbine operation to prepare for a career in the field.

HVACR TECHNICIAN SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA

The HVACR Technician program is offered at UTI's Long Beach campus and is coming to the Sacramento campus pending regulatory approval. In this 9-month program you can gain hands-on skills as you learn to work on various heating and cooling systems. Whether the worksite is residential homes or commercial buildings like schools and hospital, every industry needs heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. As a graduate, you'll be prepared to earn professional credentials like the EPA 608 certification, valued by the HVAC industry.
