AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC SCHOOL IN NEW JERSEY

UTI Bloomfield offers the Automotive Technology program for aspiring auto techs. This program, which can be completed in less than a year,4 can teach you how to take on the maintenance and repair of import and domestic vehicles. Your training covers everything from electronic technology to Power & Performance to help you become a well-rounded technician.

DIESEL MECHANIC SCHOOL IN NEW JERSEY

UTI Bloomfield is also home to aspiring diesel techs. The 45-week Diesel Technology program teaches students the skills top manufacturers say matter most. You can learn in-demand skills for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, railway transportation, agriculture, oil and anywhere diesel engines are found. By the end of your program, you’ll be prepared to test for ASE certification. Plus, your training can substitute for one of the two years of work experience required to become ASE certified.

WELDING SCHOOL IN NEW JERSEY

In UTI’s Welding Technology program, you can complete your training in less than nine months. As a welding student at the UTI Bloomfield campus, you’ll train in the welding lab using industry standard tools and technology, including VRTEX® virtual welders. Developed in conjunction with Lincoln Electric, our curriculum will teach you four different welding processes in order to become a combination welder.

THERE’S A LOT TO LOVE ABOUT THE TRI-STATE AREA

When not in class, students have almost endless opportunities to relax, explore, have fun or just let off steam.

Red Bull Arena: The arena is the third-largest soccer stadium in the country, with capacity for 25,000 spectators. It’s home to Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls, members of the league’s Eastern Conference. The arena is on the waterfront in the Riverbend district of Harrison, across the Passaic River from Newark and approximately seven miles west of lower Manhattan.

Prudential Center: Nicknamed "The Rock" by sports fans and writers in reference to its featuring the Prudential Financial corporate logo, Prudential Center is New Jersey’s home for live entertainment such as New Jersey Devils hockey, concerts, Seton Hall basketball and other great family events. It routinely attracts top performing artists, major sports competitions and highly acclaimed shows.

South Mountain Recreation Complex: The complex is a 36-acre recreation facility in Essex County that includes a zoo, ice skating/hockey rinks, a safari-themed miniature golf course, a forest adventure park, a restaurant, paddle boats, a nautical-themed playground, and a 1.75 mile walking loop around the Orange Reservoir.

Meadowlands Sports Complex: The complex currently consists of MetLife Stadium, which is home to the New York Giants and New York Jets of the National Football League and Meadowlands Racetrack, one of the more famous harness racing circuits in the sport and home of the annual Hambletonian Stakes.

Bane’s Horror Entertainment: The main attraction, Bane Haunted House, is the largest indoor haunted attraction in the tri-state area and is consistently ranked among the scariest in the country. Patrons can also test their skills in the largest and most detailed themed escape rooms in New Jersey and shoot their way through laser tag experiences similar to those used in law enforcement training.

American Dream Meadowlands: American Dream Meadowlands is a retail and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands Sports Complex that opened in 2019. It contains more than 500 stores and attractions, including amusement park rides, a waterpark, an indoor ski slope, various dining options and many other family-friendly amenities.
