MIAT College of Technology, part of UTI’s family of trade schools, offers programs ranging from Aviation to Robotics right here in Canton, MI. These programs are designed to prepare you for a career, giving you the knowledge and skills required by the industry.1
MIAT offers two different Aviation programs, which can prepare you for careers in industries such as aviation, industrial technology and renewable energy.80 Your training includes courses on key topics in order to provide you with a well-rounded skill set you can build on.
An education in energy technology can prepare you for careers in a variety of industries, such as wind, coal, gas, solar, nuclear, geothermal and power distribution. MIAT offers three different Energy programs designed to equip you with the skills needed to pursue entry-level roles after you graduate.1
MIAT’s Robotics & Automation training program is designed to equip you with a range of technical skills, including electrical design and troubleshooting, computer programming and coding, and robotics and 3D printer concepts. In just 16 months, you can get ready to pursue an entry-level position in the field.1
In just 9 months, the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Technician Training program can prepare you for a career as a skilled technician.1 Graduates of this program are prepared to test for certifications, which may help as they seek job opportunities.
The Welding Specialist program from MIAT College of Technology provides hands-on training, practical experience, and industry support.
