HONDA HONTECH PROGRAM OVERVIEW
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
American Honda Motor Co. awarded a formal endorsement to Motorcycle Mechanics Institute to offer Honda motorcycle mechanic training in 1986.1.1 Students will be taught everything from Honda motorcycle repair and advanced electrical troubleshooting to the design characteristics of Honda motorcycle and ATV engine configurations.

MMI HonTech students have the opportunity to receive Bronze field designation after completing 60 days of tenure in a Honda dealership.

HONDA HONTECH COURSES
For students seeking an American Honda-endorsed program that can lead to pursuing a career as a technician with a Honda motorcycle dealership, MMI is the place to start.6 HonTech is designed to provide the knowledge and hands-on training required to become an entry-level Honda technician.
Much of the information presented in HonTech comes directly from American Honda training centers. Instructors are HonTech-trained and receive regular updates from American Honda on designs and procedures. The emphasis of HonTech is on developing entry-level technicians for Honda motorcycle dealerships.
HONTECH: MODULE 1
An introduction to the design characteristics of various Honda motorcycle and ATV engine configurations. Learn more.
HONTECH: MODULE 2
Use workstations in the ATV module to practice all aspects of ATV servicing, model identification, principles of operation and safety procedures. Learn more.
HONTECH: MODULE 3
Gain an understanding of Honda electrical systems and wiring diagrams and their interpretation and use on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and power equipment, including generators. Learn more.

Honda motorcycle training is available at our two Motorcycle Mechanics Institute tech school campuses in Phoenix, Arizona, and Orlando, Florida.
