At our Exton trade school campus, our labs feature state-of-the-industry equipment that gives students the hands-on experience necessary to prepare for the shop environment. This campus also features a Roush Yates Power & Performance lab, where you’ll learn to tear down and rebuild engines. It also has a dedicated diesel lab featuring a full line of trucks and equipment.
UTI Exton’s Automotive, Diesel, Welding and Robotics & Automation programs can help give you the foundation you need to pursue an entry-level career as a technician or combination welder.1

In the Automotive Technology program at UTI Exton, which is about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia, you’ll learn everything from simple engine systems to electronic systems and technology. As a graduate, you’ll earn a diploma and will be prepared to test for ASE certification.
In the 45-week Diesel Technology program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of engine service and repair, brake systems and chassis, preventative maintenance, and much more. As a graduate from the Exton campus, you’ll earn a diploma and will be prepared to complete exams for ASE certification.
With UTI’s Welding Technology Training program, you could train for the industry in less than nine months. Developed in conjunction with Lincoln Electric, your courses cover everything from welding safety guidelines to pipe welding and various types of welding processes.
Students interested in innovation and technology should explore the Robotics & Automation program. This 51-week program gives students the opportunity to learn about a range of topics relevant to both the robotics and automation industries, including 3D design and manufacturing, applied physics and precision measuring, and computer-aided design.
