BMW FastTrack is 12 weeks of intensive BMW-specific training on current models of some of the world’s most precision-based driving machines.8 The four main areas of focus include workshop technology, electrical technology, chassis technology and drivetrain technology.
CREDENTIALS
Graduates of the BMW FastTrack program may earn factory credentials and have an opportunity to achieve a BMW Associate Level III Certification after completion of BMW-specific ASE testing and hands-on assessments.

Certain graduates of the BMW FastTrack Program may be eligible for BMW’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.14 Graduates from the FastTrack Program who are hired by a participating BMW dealership should discuss with BMW how to apply for reimbursement, as well as eligibility criteria and conditions that may apply.

CHASSIS TECHNOLOGY
Learn about BMW suspension systems, alignment procedures, wheels and tires, braking system diagnosis and repairs, and on-car brake lathes.
ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY
Learn the BMW-approved procedures to diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems. Understand BMW wiring diagrams and how to use V cables and breakout boxes.
DRIVETRAIN TECHNOLOGY
Learn about BMW engines and technology, variable valve-train systems, direct high-pressure fuel systems, turbocharging and diagnosis procedures.

The BMW FastTrack program at UTI is an advanced training program designed to prepare students for careers as BMW automotive technicians. This manufacturer-specific program builds on the core automotive education students receive at UTI and focuses exclusively on BMW vehicle systems, diagnostics and technologies. Students gain hands-on training using BMW tools and equipment while learning the standards and procedures used in BMW service centers.
To qualify for UTI’s BMW FastTrack program, students must first complete UTI’s core Automotive Technology program. Eligibility may also be based on academic performance, professionalism and instructor recommendations. The program is designed for students who demonstrate a strong interest in working with BMW vehicles and a commitment to pursuing a career with the brand.
