If you’d like to master the fundamentals of Cummins Power Generation, look no further than UTI’s Cummins Power Generation elective. This 12-week program focuses on equipment and controls, and engine maintenance of electrical generators and power generation systems that run in a variety of commercial and personal applications.9

BASIC CONCEPTS OF POWER GENERATION

Learn the basic operation of a generator, the types of generators, ratings and features. Students will also learn the importance of electrical safety throughout the program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Earn Cummins qualifications that will allow you to perform preventative maintenance on Cummins Power Generation equipment. Graduates of the program are qualified as CMI Level 1 Technicians.

EARN MANUFACTURER CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN STATUS

Students who complete the Cummins Power Generation curriculum will be classified as a CMI Level 1 Technician as defined in the Service Technician Global Position Profiles.

Cummins Power Generation training is a highly selective program. You must apply, meet certain qualifications, be interviewed and be accepted to become one of the Cummins elite. 15
