The automotive mechanic training program takes just 51 weeks to complete.7 Upon completion, Automotive Technology students are awarded an associate degree and gain a year's worth of practical experience, fulfilling half the requirement needed to qualify for taking the ASE certification exam!

UTI’s diesel mechanic training program spans just 45 weeks and equips students with a fundamental understanding of diesel engine maintenance, diagnosis and repair.7 Diesel Technology graduates earn a diploma and can leverage their training to account for one of the two years of experience required to test to become ASE certified.

The 36-week Welding Technology program equips students with the skills they need to pursue entry-level combination welding roles in a variety of industries. - Take a slight right to merge onto I-80 E toward Sacramento. (0.2 miles)
- Continue onto I-80 W to Sacramento. Take Exit 524 from I-5 N. (12.6 miles)
- Merge onto I-80 E. (36 miles)
- Use the right two lanes to take the I-80 exit toward Reno. (0.7 miles)
- Continue onto I-80 E. (3.7 miles)
- Take Exit 86 to merge onto I-5 N. (1.6 miles)
- Use the second lane from the right to take Exit 524 for Arena Boulevard. (0.3 miles)
- Continue onto Arena Boulevard to our campus (0.7 miles)
- Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Arena Boulevard (0.4 miles)
- Turn right onto Duckhorn Drive (0.2 miles)
- Turn right at Goose Haven Lane (243 feet)
- Turn left and UTI Sacramento will be on your right (358 feet)
