Over 51 weeks, Automotive Technology students gain experience in courses relevant to the current field so they can keep pace with the ever-evolving industry.⁷ Students can also earn an associate degree and develop knowledge that helps prepare them to test to become ASE certified.

Diesel mechanic training at UTI Sacramento teaches students the fundamentals of Diesel Technology in just 45 weeks.⁷ Students enrolled in the program gain industry-relevant knowledge that can help them pass ASE certification exams and pursue diesel careers.

Designed in collaboration with industry leader Lincoln Electric, our 36-week Welding Technology program provides students with the hands-on experience necessary for entry-level combination welding roles. Students learn about arc welding, pipe welding, engineering and fabrication and more!

1. Get on I-80 W from Greenback Lane. (3 miles)
   1. Head north on Fountain Square Drive. (0.1 miles)
   2. At the traffic circle, take the fourth exit and stay on Fountain Square Drive. (0.5 miles)
   3. Turn right onto Greenback Lane. (2.2 miles)
   4. Use the right two lanes to merge onto I-80 W via the ramp to Sacramento. (0.2 miles)
2. Continue onto I-80 W to Sacramento. Take Exit 524 from I-5 N. (12.6 miles)
   1. Merge onto I-80 W. (11 miles)
   2. Use the right three lanes to take Exit 86 to merge onto I-5 N toward Redding. (1.3 miles)
   3. Use the second lane from the right to take Exit 524 for Arena Boulevard. (0.3 miles)
3. Continue onto Arena Boulevard to our campus (0.7 miles)
   1. Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Arena Boulevard (0.4 miles)
   2. Turn right onto Duckhorn Drive (0.2 miles)
   3. Turn right at Goose Haven Lane (243 feet)
   4. Turn left and UTI Sacramento will be on your right (358 feet)
