CAREER OPPORTUNITIES NEAR ANAHEIM, CA

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the median annual salary for welders, cutters, solderers and brazers in the United States was $48,940 in May 2023.26 This means half earned more and half earned less. Keep in mind that salary depends on several factors, including experience, employer, demand and cost of living in the area.

Welding skills are in demand in California and across the nation. Per the BLS, aging infrastructure will necessitate the assistance of welders to rebuild bridges, highways and buildings.

Since fundamental welding skills are often transferrable across industries, welders may be able to move from one industry to another depending on the current demand for their services. For instance, a welder with expertise in construction may be able to shift to the manufacturing or shipbuilding sector!1
