Diesel Tech Training

UTI’s 45-week diesel mechanic training program prepares students to test for ASE certification after graduations, as well as service and repair diesel-powered equipment, such as trucks and buses.¹ Students practice on industry-standard equipment and graduates earn a diploma!

Collision Repair Training

Our 51- to 54-week auto body repair program was created with the help of I-CAR – an industry provider of collision repair training and standards. Students can earn several I-CAR credentials and can pursue an entry-level career following graduation! ¹

Welding Training

The welding training curriculum was created with help from industry-leading brand, Lincoln Electric. For 36 weeks, students gain hands-on experience in arc welding in various positions so they can feel prepared to pursue entry-level careers as combination welders after graduation!¹

Airframe and Powerplant Training

Our airframe and powerplant mechanic program (coming to UTI Long Beach pending FAA approval) is an 18-month program that teaches students to maintain different types of aircraft.⁷⁹ No work experience is required to enter the program — instructors start at square one and help students develop a fundamental knowledge.
