UTI Sacramento’s 51-week Automotive Technology program teaches students to maintain and repair various types of automobiles through courses on engine service and repair, powertrains and transmissions and electric vehicle technology! 3,4 Graduates earn an associate of occupational studies (AOS) degree and one of the two years of experience required to become ASE certified!

Diesel Technician Training Near Folsom, CA

The 45-week Diesel Technology program at UTI Sacramento prepares students to maintain, diagnose and repair a range of diesel-powered equipment and concludes with a diploma.3 Courses cover topics such as brake systems and chassis, steering and suspension, electronic systems and technology and more. The program prepares students to pursue entry-level positions in the industry and test for ASE certification.

Welding Technology students spend 36 weeks learning the four primary types of arc welding, pipe welding, fabrication and more.   1. Get on I-80 West from Greenback Lane (9.6 miles)
    1. a. Head southwest on Sutter St toward Riley Street (118 feet)
      b. Turn right at the first cross street onto Riley Street (0.1 miles)
      c. Continue onto Greenback Lane (1.5 miles)
      d. Turn right to stay on Greenback Lane (7.7 miles)
      e. Use the right two lanes to merge onto I-80 West via the ramp to Sacramento (0.2 miles)

  2. Continue onto I-80 West to Sacramento. Take Exit 524 from I-5 North (12.6 miles)
    1. a. Merge onto I-80 West (11.1 miles)
      b. Use the right three lanes to take Exit 86 to merge onto I-5 North toward Redding (1.2 miles)
      c. Use the second from the right lane to take Exit 524 for Arena Boulevard (0.3 miles)

  3. Continue onto Arena Boulevard to our campus (0.7 miles)
    1. a. Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Arena Boulevard (0.4 miles)
      b. Turn right onto Duckhorn Drive (0.2 miles)
      c. Turn right at Goose Haven Lane (243 feet)
      d. Turn left and UTI Sacramento will be on your right (358 feet)
