The 51-week Automotive Technology program at our Orlando, FL auto mechanic school includes hands-on labs equipped with industry-standard tools and technology for students to train on.18 Before entering the labs, auto students follow instructor-led online training. Program graduates earn an occupational associate degree (OAD). The Auto program at UTI Orlando is accredited by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation, meaning all instructors are ASE certified and courses teach material that helps prepare students to test for ASE certification. Graduates are prepared to complete ASE examinations and can substitute their training for one year of the two years of work experience required for ASE certification.
