Located in Miramar, UTI’s diesel training program is roughly 12 miles southwest of Davie. The 45-week program7 consists of hands-on training in labs equipped with current technology, including several diesel engines and equipment.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES NEAR DAVIE, FL

DIESEL MECHANIC JOBS IN DAVIE, FL

    2. Keep right to continue on FL-817 South/South University Drive (1.5 miles)

PROGRAMS OFFERED AT UTI MIRAMAR

In addition to diesel mechanic training, we also offer Automotive, Welding, and Airframe & Powerplant training programs at UTI Miramar.79

Auto Mechanic School

UTI’s 51-week7 auto mechanic school helps students build industry-relevant knowledge to help them prepare them to pursue careers in the industry. Like the Diesel program, students train with the tools, technology and equipment seen in in the field.

From service and repair to electronic systems and technology courses, students come away with the skills employers often seek in entry-level candidates.1 Graduates receive an occupational associate degree (OAD).

Welding School

Welding industry leader Lincoln Electric helped UTI develop its welding school curriculum. The program offers hands-on training state-of-the-industry technology and equipment.

Students also learn four main arc welding processes, proper tool usage, blueprint reading, project planning and more. At the end of the program, grads are awarded diplomas.

Airframe and Powerplant School

UTI Miramar’s 18-month airframe and powerplant school79 doesn’t require any previous experience to attend. Industry professionals lead the program, which is designed to build students’ knowledge from the ground up.

At the conclusion of their training, graduates earn diplomas and can begin pursuing entry-level roles like aviation mechanic, turbine technician or field technician.77
