Still searching for “welding school near me”? Look no further than UTI Miramar’s Welding training program. Located approximately four miles from Pembroke Pines, the campus offers a nearby industry-aligned education that takes only 36 weeks to complete and concludes with graduates earning diplomas.
But before earning those diplomas, students learn production processes, regulations, and how to properly use the tools, technology and equipment current to the industry. Led by experienced instructors, Welding program students also learn four main arc welding methods, highlighted in the courses listed below. This ensures they have the skills necessary to weld in diverse industries.
Upon completing the program, graduates can embark pursue entry-level roles as welders, welder fitters, or fabrication welders.77

After 51 weeks7 of comprehensive training on how to service, test and repair various vehicles, students earn an occupational associate degree (OAD), proving they’ve undergone the technical training many employers desire.1
Like the curriculum in the diesel and welding school programs, UTI Miramar’s Automotive courses were created in conjunction with leading brands, ensuring students receive a relevant and up-to-date education.
The diesel technician school at UTI Miramar prepares students to pursue entry-level roles as diesel technicians, agriculture technicians, power generation technicians and heavy equipment repair technicians.77
For 45 weeks,7 students train in labs and classrooms equipped with industry-standard technology, tools, and various diesel engines and vehicles.
The curriculum was developed with help from industry leaders to help students build the knowledge and technical skills many employers desire from entry-level candidates.1 Upon completion, graduates receive diplomas proving their training.
UTI Miramar’s airframe and powerplant mechanic school79 is designed to help students build foundational skill sets that can prepare them to pursue entry-level careers. Potential paths may include field technician, turbine technician or aviation mechanic.77
For 18 months, students learn to maintain, diagnose and repair different aircraft and powerplant components through courses that include Turbine Designs & Operations, Assembly & Rigging, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, and more.
