The Automotive and Diesel technician training programs at UTI Orlando practice a blended-learning model that mimics on-the-job training.18 Students follow online instructor-led training and then apply what they learn in labs furnished with current equipment and technology.
Both programs last less than one year,7 and graduates receive either an occupational associate degree (OAD) or a diploma. The Auto and Diesel programs at UTI Orlando are also accredited by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation, meaning students are prepared to test for ASE certification. Program graduates are prepared to complete ASE examinations and can substitute their training for one year of the two years of work experience required for ASE certification. And all UTI instructors are ASE certified and can offer valuable mentorship!

- Continue onto I-4 West. Take I-4 Express to US-17 South/US-441 South/US-92 West/Highway 17 South in Orange County. Take Exit 254 from Florida’s Turnpike (61.8 miles)
- Continue onto I-4 West (signs for I-95 South/Miami/Deland/Orlando) (37.3 miles)
- Keep left to continue onto the I-4 Express (6.2 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to stay on the I-4 Express (9.7 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to stay on the I-4 Express (2.3 miles)
- Take the left exit toward Miami (1 mile)
- Merge onto Florida’s Turnpike (4.1 miles)
- Use the right two lanes to take Exit 254 toward US-17 South/US-441 South/US-92 West/Highway 17 South (0.5 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward US-17 South/US-441 South/US-92 West/Highway 17 South (0.3 miles)
