UTI Lisle’s 51-week Automotive Technology program teaches students the fundamentals of Automotive Engines Service and Repair, Vehicle Brake systems, Vehicle Electronic Systems and Technology and more!7 Graduates earn diplomas and one of the two years of hands-on experience required to test for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.¹⁸

The Diesel Technology program at UTI Lisle is just 45 weeks and concludes with a diploma showcasing graduates’ training.⁷ Throughout the program, students learn about Diesel Truck Brake Systems and Chassis, Hydraulic Systems, Transport Refrigeration and more. Like the auto program, graduates gain one of the two years of hands-on experience required to test for ASE certification.¹⁸

The Welding Technology program in Lisle gets students career-ready by teaching them the four types of arc welding used by a number of industries. Developed with help from industry-leading brand Lincoln Electric , the program prepares students for entry-level welding careers in just 36 weeks and concludes with a diploma for graduates!

The Industrial Maintenance program is designed to teach students to maintain, diagnose and repair various types of machinery in the manufacturing and power-generating industries. Students take exciting courses relating to gas turbine theory, advanced electrical, boilers and more. At the end of 30 weeks, graduates can begin pursuing entry-level positions such as industrial maintenance technician, plant technician and installation technician.⁷⁷
