TRAIN AT UTI NEAR TAMARAC, FL
Students at UTI Miramar can enroll in our Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology and Welding Technology programs to hone the fundamental skills often required for roles in the industry. UTI Miramar trade school students could also apply for UTI’s specialized training programs to further their skills and credentials. These manufacturer-specific programs are offered at some of our other campuses, including UTI Orlando in Florida.
PROGRAMS OFFERED AT UTI NEAR TAMARAC, FL
Automotive Technology
The 51-week Automotive Technology program7 at UTI Miramar helps students gain hands-on automotive training.18 After graduating from our Miramar, FL, auto mechanic school, students earn an occupational associate degree (OAD).
Diesel Technology
The 45-week Diesel Technology program7 at UTI Miramar is designed for aspiring mechanics who wish to learn how to diagnose, maintain and repair diesel engines and equipment. Grads from our Miramar, FL, diesel mechanic school are presented with diplomas.
UTI Miramar provides a 36-week Welding Technology program that equips students with training on four major arc welding processes, which can help them develop important welding skills. Graduates from our Miramar, FL, welding school earn diplomas!

- Turn left to stay on Papaya Way (131 feet)
- Turn right at the first cross street onto NW 72nd Street/Brookwood Boulevard (0.1 miles)
- Turn left onto FL-817 South/North University Drive (1.3 miles)
- Turn right onto FL-870 West/West Commercial Boulevard (2.7 miles)
- Use any lane to turn left onto the Florida 869 Toll South ramp to I-75/Miami (0.5 miles)
- Follow FL-869 South and I-75 South to South 33rd Street/Miramar Parkway in Miramar. Take Exit 7 from I-75 South (16.7 miles)
- Merge onto FL-869 South (6.6 miles)
- Merge onto I-75 South (6.1 miles)
- Keep right at the fork to stay on I-75 South (3.0 miles)
- Use the right two lanes to take Exit 7 toward South 33rd Street/Miramar Parkway (0.3 miles)
- Keep left at the fork to continue on Exit 7A, follow signs for East Miramar Parkway (0.7 miles)
- Continue on South 33rd Street/Miramar Parkway to your destination (1.4 miles)
- Turn right onto South 33rd Street/Miramar Parkway (0.8 miles)
- Turn left toward SW 145th Avenue (413 feet)
- Turn left onto SW 145th Avenue (0.4 miles)
