At UTI Houston, we offer 10 technician training programs in airframe and powerplant, automotive, collision repair and refinish, diesel, HVACR, industrial maintenance, non-destructive testing, robotics and automation, welding and wind turbine.


In addition to these, we also provide three brand-specific training programs in the sectors of diesel and automotive technologies for those who have completed core training: BMW FastTrack, Cummins Engines and Ford FACT. The Automotive Technology program at UTI Houston is 51 weeks of courses developed to help our students learn how to diagnose and fix automotive technologies.7 Graduates earn AOS degrees.

Ford FACT

UTI Houston's Ford FACT program is a 15-week specialized program of authorized Ford Motor Company technician training.8 This enriching educational journey heightens students’ familiarity with the brand and presents them with Ford-specific credentials upon completion.

BMW FastTrack

UTI Houston's BMW FastTrack program is a 12-week Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) program aimed to prepare participants with the crucial skills necessary for the diagnosis and repair of BMW vehicles.8 Upon completion of the program, students are awarded credentials specific to the BMW brand.

Cummins Engines

Students who have completed the core diesel training can take their passion for diesel technology to the next level with the Cummins Engines MSAT program at UTI Houston. This 12-week course of study offers a blend of theoretical learning and practical training, along with training on Cummins' diagnostic tools.9 Upon successful completion, students are awarded Cummins qualifications, which could be useful when pursuing opportunities as warranty technicians at Cummins distributors or authorized dealers.
