The Houston campus remains closed until Tuesday, September 5th due to the flooding in Houston. There has been a change to the schedule once we resume classes on September 5th:
For students who were active during the August 14th course cycle, we have made the decision to extend the teach time another day, which will push the course completion to Thursday, September 7th
. This decision was made in the interest of ensuring the proper time necessary is provided to fully teach the remaining subjects in all courses. Graduation for this course cycle is still scheduled to be done on Friday, Sep 8th.
The next course cycle will begin on Friday, Sep 8th
, and the completion date will be pushed to Monday, September 25th
. This will ensure a 12-day course cycle, which our curriculum has the flexibility to compensate for. We will also open the campus for voluntary tutoring/additional instruction time on Saturday, September 16th. Attendance will not be taken on that Saturday. This is simply an opportunity for students to spend additional time with instructors to ensure full grasp of the course material.
For NEW students scheduled to start on September 5th, your scheduled Start day has now been postponed to Tuesday, September 26th
, 2017. Registration/Orientation will be the week of Monday, September 18th, 2017. We will be contacting you for next steps, and any other information.
Please check uti.edu/houston
