TRADE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The training programs at UTI teach the fundamental, in-demand skills our students take with them into the workforce. Whether it’s automotive; diesel; welding; electrical, electronics & industrial technology; motorcycle; marine; collision repair; CNC machining; airframe and powerplant; wind energy; industrial maintenance; HVACR; robotics and automation; or non-destructive testing, our programs teach the foundational skills employers look for when hiring technicians.1 Some programs even take less than a year.

Employers want technicians who understand the specifics of their technologies. That’s why many leading manufacturers have worked with UTI to create programs focused on their vehicles, diagnostics and performance specs.11

Manufacturer-specific advanced training available only for UTI core programs.

UTI prepares graduates for entry-level careers using the provided training. UTI graduates’ achievements may vary. Some UTI graduates get jobs within their field of study in positions other than those listed.79) UTI aviation maintenance programs prepare graduates to apply and test for FAA mechanic certification. Graduates who don’t obtain certification may have fewer career opportunities. Some graduates get jobs in aviation or related industries other than as aviation maintenance technicians. UTI is an educational institution and cannot guarantee employment, salary or FAA certification.131) UTI’s Electrical, Electronics & Industrial Technology program does not prepare graduates for employment as an electrician. UTI’s electrical programs prepare graduates for entry-level careers using the provided training in careers such as electrician’s assistant or security + access control systems technician, but graduates will not be eligible for certification as an electrician without additional training and meeting state licensing requirements.
