How much can I make as an entry-level marine mechanic?

The median annual salary for motorboat mechanics and service technicians in the United States was $54,950 in May 2024,31 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not publish entry-level salary data. However, the 25th and 10th percentile of hourly earnings in North Carolina are $21.40 and $14.44, respectively.
