An industrial maintenance technician typically performs repairs and maintenance on various types of machines. On any given day, they may perform diagnostics, clean and lubricate machinery or test damaged parts.

Exton, PA
Located just 33 miles outside of Philadelphia, the Exton campus offers vibrant student life with no shortage of things to do outside of training. Thanks to industry-aligned labs offering hands-on training, some students have even reported driving from other states to get training here!18


Houston, TX
As one of the most populous cities in the United States, there’s plenty to do in Houston, Texas. The campus is close to downtown Houston, NASA's Johnson Space Center, Lake Conroe and much more. The campus also offers core programs in wind, industrial maintenance, HVACR, automotive, collision repair, diesel, welding, airframe and powerplant, and non-destructive testing.


Lisle, IL
Conveniently located outside Chicago, Lisle offers a beautiful downtown district, the Morton Arboretum and the multimillion-dollar Benedictine University Sports Complex for when students aren’t busy training.


Long Beach, CA
Our Long Beach campus is a great spot to get training for those in Orange and Los Angeles counties. It's in the third-largest city in Southern California and is located near several freeways to make getting around easy. Our hands-on labs and industry-standard tools and tech are worth checking out!


Mooresville, NC
Mooresville, North Carolina, is home to UTI Mooresville. The school’s right at home in Race City USA, close to Charlotte Motor Speedway and the zMAX Dragway. The campus currently features programs in automotive, CNC machining, welding and HVACR. Electrical, Electronics, & Industrial Technology; Electrical, Robotics & Automation Technology; and Electrical and Industrial Maintenance Technology programs coming to UTI Mooresville.


Rancho Cucamonga, CA
On the West Coast in California, the Rancho Cucamonga campus is a short drive to downtown Los Angeles. It’s near the San Gabriel Mountains and close to the beach. The location features programs in automotive, diesel, welding, wind power and industrial maintenance.


San Antonio, TX
San Antonio blends a rich history with modern amenities. The campus is near landmarks like the Alamo and the River Walk, plus entertainment venues and theme parks. It’s an engaging place to train for a career while enjoying all the city has to offer. VA benefits are not currently available at this campus.
Enrolling in the Program
Enrolling in our Industrial Maintenance Technician training program begins with three simple steps: Fill out an enrollment form, talk with an Admissions Representative and start classes!
Required documents include proof of education, which include:
- A standards-based high school diploma
- A state-issued GED certificate or state-authorized equivalent exam
- Proof of successful completion of a degree program at the postsecondary level or evidence of having previously attended a Title IV-eligible program
- Completion of an officially recognized home-schooling program
