With wind technician employment projected to grow 60% from 2023 to 2033, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), it’s a great time to take the first step toward a career in wind!⁶³

According to the BLS, the median annual salary for wind power technicians in the United States was $61,770 in May 2023.⁶¹ This means half earned more and half earned less. Keep in mind that salary depends on several factors, including experience, employer, demand and cost of living in the area.
