Auto Mechanic School Near Round Rock FAQs
To enroll at UTI Austin near Round Rock, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent. You’ll also need to complete the admissions process, which includes submitting an application and speaking with an Admissions Representative about your goals and program options.
UTI Austin’s Auto program can be completed in 51 weeks.7 Program length may vary depending on schedule options available.
Students can train in areas aligned with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards. Graduates may substitute their training for one of the two years of work experience required to test for ASE certification.
No prior experience is required. The program is designed to help beginners build foundational skills while also supporting those with some automotive knowledge.
Students learn to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles at UTI Austin. Training includes engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, climate control and more, using tools and equipment similar to those found in real shops.
