WELDING SCHOOL NEAR PEARLAND, TX

UTI’s Houston, TX, welding school is just north of Pearland and has industry professionals prepared to help you pursue your goals. Our 36-week program takes place in hands-on labs reflective of the field to ensure students graduate ready to pursue careers.

Students have access to VRTX® virtual welders – machines that simulate scenarios commonly seen in the field. Once they perfect their skills on these machines, they graduate to the real thing. Our curriculum covers the four types of arc welding processes while teaching students crucial traits, including professionalism and initiative.

Best of all? Students learn in a supportive environment led by passionate instructors who double as mentors.

The welding training graduates of UTI typically start in entry-level roles as welders, fitters or fabricators. As with any industry, over time, they may be able to advance with experience and hard work.⁷⁷

Prepare to service a variety of automobiles in a professional environment at UTI’s 12-month Automotive Technology training program.⁷ Graduates earn associate degrees in recognition of their dedication to the trade and are prepared to take ASE certification exams post-graduation.

Gain diesel engine maintenance, diagnosis and repair skills that can prepare you to pursue entry-level positions in industries ranging from transportation to agriculture. Our 11-month Diesel & Industrial Technology training program readies students to test for ASE certification after graduation and helps them earn an associate degree they can present to potential employers.⁷

Students in our Collision Repair & Refinish Technology program spend 12 to 13 months learning to repair vehicles damaged by collision. Take courses developed in collaboration with I-CAR, Axalta 3M and other industry leaders. Graduates earn I-CAR certifications and diplomas that can help them when it comes time to pursue careers.

Train for a STEM career in less than one year. In UTI Houston’s & Automation Technician program, you’ll learn how to use industrial robots to automate tasks for industries like manufacturing and distribution. Course topics cover programming, computer-aided design, 3D printing and more.

Prepare for an exciting career full of adventure in just seven months. UTI Houston’s Wind Turbine Technician program teaches students the fundamentals of wind turbine maintenance, diagnosis and repair so that they can graduate prepared to pursue roles in this fast growing profession.

Gain skills to repair and maintain powerful machinery used in industries like coal, solar, nuclear and gas. UTI Houston’s seven-month Industrial Maintenance Technician program allows students to get hands-on with these machines so they can graduate with skills employers value.

HVACR program at UTI Houston builds students' knowledge from the ground up, preparing them for entry-level roles in just nine months. Through hands-on training, students gain the technical skills needed to safely maintain and repair residential and commercial HVACR systems.

Non-destructive testing technicians play a crucial role in evaluating the integrity of products ranging from bridges to nuclear reactors, ensuring they’re safe for use. Build these important skills in just nine months at UTI Houston. Our Advanced Non-Destructive Testing program doesn’t require any experience to attend and builds students' knowledge from the ground up.
