The 51-week Automotive Technology program at UTI Avondale has a blended-learning model that mirrors the training techs in the field receive.^7,18 Students take online courses and participate in hands-on lab learning. Upon completing all courses, they earn an associate degree and one of the two years required to test for ASE certification!

UTI’s 45-week Diesel Technology program teaches a blended-learning model reflective of the training that occurs in the field.^7,18 This includes online learning followed by hands-on application. Students cover topics like engine service and repair, hydraulic systems, truck transport refrigeration and more. They also graduate with one of the two years needed to test for ASE certification exams.

Our 18-month Airframe & Powerplant Technician training program prepares students to test for Airframe and Powerplant Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification.⁷⁹ Courses include Turbine Engine Design, Navigation and Communication Systems, Propellers and more!
