Sunstate Equipment has approximately 10-12 Early Employment opportunities near the Avondale Campus for mechanic technician students each year.
Students joining Sunstate will enter into our one-of-a-kind Apprentice Mechanic Training Program where they will receive hands-on, paid training while working on a wide variety of construction machines ranging from small tools to heavy equipment. Upon
successful completion of the 2-year program, graduates will receive a full set of tools and a toolbox to help them succeed in their new role as a Line Mechanic, Field Service Mechanic, or Small Engine Mechanic.
As an incoming Apprentice Mechanic, students will be assigned a shop mentor, and will receive team support, guidance, and ongoing training to hone their skills for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic
systems, diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, and more.
Students can expect to work individually within a team setting that is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. Together, the Sunstate team creates a safe, productive, and fun shop environment while ensuring that our customers receive safe, reliable,
top-performing equipment that is ready-to-work upon delivery.
Sunstate encourages growth from within, and our employees are empowered to develop a career path that continues to challenge and reward them. We offer a culture that puts our people first and embraces our core values of People, Integrity, Safety, Challenge,
