Diesel Mechanic Training Near New Braunfels, TX
Students at UTI benefit from both online classes and hands-on training in a lab. During the 45-week program, they will learn from experienced instructors who have years of expertise they are excited to share.7 From principles of operation to the use of OEM software, they guide them through important aspects of diesel trucks and engines.

Diesel Mechanic Certifications Offered
An important certification to take note of is the ASE. What does ASE stand for? It is the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, which sets the standard for vehicle repair, service and parts distribution. To get certified, diesel technicians need to have two years of experience and pass the ASE exam.
Graduates of UTI’s Diesel Technology program can have their training count as one of the two years of experience required to test for ASE certification.16
