Diesel Mechanic Certifications Offered

An important certification to take note of is the ASE. What does ASE stand for? It is the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, which sets the standard for vehicle repair, service and parts distribution. To get certified, diesel technicians need to have two years of experience and pass the ASE exam.

Graduates of UTI’s Diesel Technology program can have their training count as one of the two years of experience required to test for ASE certification.16
