UTI's Austin, Texas, welding school is just south of Georgetown! Our students train using the different skills and techniques found in the welding industry. Some of our courses go through how to weld in different positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead.

We will cover the four different arc welding training processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Automotive Mechanic Training

In the Automotive Technology program, students gain the knowledge to diagnose engine issues and grow their skills in making repairs across diverse systems and components. This core training lasts 51 weeks and prepares graduates to pursue entry-level positions within the industry.7

Diesel Mechanic Training

In 45 weeks, our Diesel Technology program takes students through servicing diesel-powered machines and vehicles to expand their knowledge in engine service, repair and electronic systems.7

HVACR Technician Training

Our HVACR Technician program offers hands-on training in vent system selection, precise installation techniques, air handling strategies and specialized duct fabrication. This 39-week curriculum equips graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to start their journey in the HVACR trade.
