1. Uncover the Reasons Why Our Grads Are Preferred by Some of the Nation’s Leading Brands

In addition to hearing about our core training programs, attending our National Open House can provide a chance to hear about UTI’s Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) programs. These specialized programs offer training on brands like BMW, Porsche, Ford, Cummins, Peterbilt, Harley-Davidson and more.15

UTI has relationships with manufacturers of more than 35 leading brands. Many of these manufacturers have helped develop coursework and curriculum for our MSAT programs, which has contributed to building our reputation.

At our National Open House, you’ll get the chance to learn more about these manufacturer-specific programs, which can help you get additional specialized training with brands you’re passionate about!

2. Tour Our Facilities to See Equipment That Mirrors the Industry

When deciding to further your schooling, you’ll probably want to know what the environment will be like. Being able to step foot in the classrooms and labs where you’d be spending a lot of your time can be extremely helpful in determining whether that school is the right choice for you!

During our National Open House, you’ll get a taste of what campus life would be like as a student. Plus, you’ll get the chance to join in on live, interactive demos. These will allow you to see and experience our state-of-the-industry tools and equipment up close and personal, from dynamometers to virtual welding. It’s a great way to get a feel for a day in the lab!

3. Meet Our Experienced Instructors

Maybe you know you learn best in a hands-on environment and the thought of pursuing a career in the skilled trades interests you, but you’re not quite sure which avenue you want to go down.

Our National Open House will provide the opportunity to hear directly from instructors about the training programs offered through UTI and its family of schools. These include  Automotive TechnologyDiesel TechnologyWeldingAviationHVACRRobotics & Automation and more.

Instructors will talk about what students learn throughout the programs and what topics are covered in program courses. Being present will allow you to get questions you have about a particular program or subject answered in person. You’ll also get to hear from instructors about their own experiences and backgrounds!

4. Experience Exciting Hands-On Demos

When we say hands-on, we mean it! Not only in our labs, but also at our National Open House, as you’ll have the chance to participate in live demos including dynos, virtual welding and more. Have fun seeing what a day in the life of a student looks like as you participate in the demo of your choice.

You’ll get to check out different programs hands-on to help you find one that fits your passion.

5. See How We’re Making $15 Million+ in Scholarships & Grants Available to Those Who Qualify in 2023

As you discover your trade, we know an important factor to enrolling in a training program is how to pay for it. When you attend our National Open House, you’ll get to speak with financial aid representatives who can fill you in on the different options that might be available, which can include:10
