If you’d like to pursue a skilled-trade career but aren’t sure welding training is right for you, keep reading! UTI Lisle offers hands-on training in its Automotive and Diesel programs, and Industrial Maintenance Technician, Robotics and Automation Technician, and Wind Turbine Technician programs.

Automotive Training

UTI’s 51-week Automotive school prepares students to pursue entry-level roles within the industry, such as automotive technician, smog inspector, service writer or parts associate.7 Graduates can also substitute their training for one of the two years of hands-on experience required to test for certification from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).18

Diesel Training

UTI Lisle's Diesel training program equips students with the fundamentals of diesel engine service and repair in just 45 weeks.7 Upon completion, graduates earn diplomas and are qualified to apply for entry-level diesel tech positions in a diverse range of industries, such as power generation and transportation.
