UTI’s Automotive & EV Technician program in Atlanta takes 12 months from start to finish. That means it’s possible to train and start pursuing your career in just one year—our Career Services team will even help you start connecting with employers before you graduate.1
To become ASE certified, you’ll need to meet two main requirements: two years of relevant experience and passing the ASE exam. While training at UTI Atlanta doesn’t automatically grant ASE certification, it can help you build the knowledge and skills needed for the tests.
UTI’s automotive program also counts towards one of the two years of relevant experience required to test. Once you spend another year in the field, you can apply to take the ASE exams at a certified testing center in Atlanta or nearby.
