UTI Relocation and Institutional Grants Test

Cost shouldn’t stop you from training for the future you want.¹ At Universal Technical Institute (UTI), qualifying students can receive either the Institutional or Relocation Grant to help with the cost of training.¹⁰ Unlike loans, these grants do not need to be repaid.

What Are Institutional & Relocation Grants?

UTI’s Institutional and Relocation Grants are available to students who show financial need, have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and live 50 miles or more from campus.

The Institutional Grant helps lower overall tuition, while the Relocation Grant helps with costs related to traveling to campus or relocating for school.

Relocation Grant Overview

The Relocation Grant provides assistance to students who are attending Universal Technical Institute (specific campus/program eligibility criteria listed below) and demonstrate financial need.

The grant will be available to all students who meet the eligibility criteria as defined below; there is no separate application process.

For students utilizing Collegiate Housing Services (CHS) Shared Housing Program, the grant will be paid directly to CHS to cover a portion of the rent.

For students utilizing Compass Rose Housing Services, the grant will be paid directly to Compass Rose to cover a portion of the rent.
