Objective
To provide Institutional Grants for students who are attending Universal Technical Institute, Motorcycle and Marine Mechanics Institute or NASCAR Technical Institute campuses (specific campus/program eligibility criteria listed below) with demonstrated financial need. The grant will be available to all students who meet the eligibility criteria as defined below; there is no separate application process. The grant award will be 10% of program tuition.
The Institutional grant will not be available to students attending Universal Technical Institute located in Dallas, TX or Bloomfield, NJ* or students enrolled in the welding program.
Criteria for Awarding the Grant
Eligibility will be based on proximity to campus** and financial need as determine by the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) calculated by the US Dept. of Education as a result of a student completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who enroll more than 30 days prior to their start date, have an EFC of 5,500 or less, and who have a proximity** to the campus of at least 50 miles will be eligible for the grant. Universal Technical Institute located in Dallas, TX
**Proximity will be calculated using the latitude and longitude of the initial address provided to the school, compared with the latitude and longitude of the campus location.
