Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill®

If you served on active duty after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) benefits to help pay for school or job training. Eligible service members can also transfer unused benefits to a spouse or dependent child. Most of UTI's campuses are approved for VA education benefits, and our Military Admissions team can help you navigate eligibility requirements and complete your paperwork.

Chapter 35: Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA)

Are you a dependent or surviving spouse of a veteran or service member? You may qualify for education benefits through the Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA) program. These benefits help eligible dependents and survivors cover education costs at approved schools like UTI.

Gain valuable work experience during the last 180 days of your military service through UTI’s SkillBridge and Career Skills programs. These opportunities let you build your resume, strengthen post-military job skills, and explore your career interests before transitioning to civilian life. Technician Skills Program

(TSP)

Train on commercial vehicles through the Technician Skills Program (TSP) with Penske Premier Truck Group at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. In this 12-week program, active-duty service members build hands-on skills working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks while preparing to pursue civilian employment opportunities after military service.1

Veteran Scholarship Opportunities for Service Members, National Guard and Reserves

Applying to grants and scholarships might be easier than you think.

You may be able to make veteran training programs more affordable. On top of your benefits, you may qualify for additional grants and scholarships, including the UTI Salute to Service Grant.10,22
