Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) is the fifth-largest privately held waste and recycling company in North America. We specialize in recycling and waste-diversion programs, affordable roll-off container services, portable restroom rentals, mulch distribution, street sweeping, temporary fencing, onsite storage options, and full-service waste removal solutions for businesses and residential homeowners.
LRS manages and maintains a 600-vehicle fleet, which thrives because of our talented and motivated mechanics. Our mechanic team maintains and repairs trucks and machinery to help LRS guide the way as an industry leader in environmentally conscious waste and recycling solutions.
In the industry since 1999, LRS was born in 2012 after a merger between two companies in Chicago, Illinois: Lakeshore Waste Services and Recycling Systems Inc. Today, we have nearly 1,400 dedicated, full-time employees at 30 facilities across the Midwest.
We are always looking for hard-working diesel mechanics to help LRS continue to prosper and to further our mission of providing environmentally responsible waste and recycling solutions.
