GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR OUR VETERANS AND MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS
Our Financial Aid representatives are well-versed to help you navigate your VA benefits while in school.20 Most of our Military Admissions Representatives are U.S. veterans.
UTI offers a Salute to Service Grant, which provides military veterans a 10% tuition reduction.22 We also offer military-only campus orientations, which allow you and your Admissions Representative to focus on the topics most important to you.
VA FUNDING
You’re not alone when navigating the complexities of military benefits. We can help you with your questions and education goals by asking just a few simple questions, such as:
- When are you being discharged?
- What are your dates of service?
- What technical training programs interest you?
- When do you hope to begin your training?
Once you discuss your background and goals, your Military Admissions Representative can help you prepare to begin your
training.
In accordance with Title 38 US Code 3679 subsection (e), Universal Technical Institute/Motorcycle Mechanics Institute/NASCAR Technical Institute adopts the following additional provisions for any students using U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Ch. 33) or Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (Ch. 31) benefits, while payment to the institution is pending from the VA. This school will not:
- Prevent the student's enrollment;
- Assess a late penalty fee to the student;
- Require the student to secure alternative or additional funding;
- Deny the student access to any resources (access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities) available to other students who have satisfied their tuition and fee bills to the institution.
For eligibility consideration, a Post 9/11 GI Bill® student must submit a VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and a Vocational Rehabilitation Student must provide a VAF 28-1905 form.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
