BMW FASTTRACK OVERVIEW

The 12-week Manufacturer-Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) program provides students with training on BMW vehicles. Students who complete the program gain the skills needed to diagnose and repair BMW vehicles.

SEE WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN BMW FASTTRACK

BMW FastTrack is 12 weeks of intensive BMW-specific training on current models of some of the world’s most precision-based driving machines. The four main areas of focus include Workshop Technology, Electrical Technology, Chassis Technology and Drivetrain Technology.

NEW ENGINE TECHNOLOGY

Learn manufacturer-approved processes for complete engine disassembly and reassembly, new engine fundamentals and basic measurement techniques.

CREDENTIALS

Graduates of the BMW FastTrack program earn 7 factory credentials and may achieve a BMW Associate Level III Certification after completion of BMW-specific ASE testing and hands-on assessments.

RECOGNITION

Receive training credentials recognized by BMW Retail Centers nationwide.

TRAIN ON LATE-MODEL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT

BMW provides the opportunity to learn and work on state-of-the-industry technology. The FastTrack program rotates its training fleet to ensure students are learning on the latest models.

BMW Tuition Reimbursement Program

Certain graduates of the BMW FastTrack Program may be eligible for BMW’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.14 Graduates from the FastTrack Program who are hired by a participating BMW dealership should discuss with BMW how to apply for reimbursement, as well as eligibility criteria and conditions that may apply.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

WORKSHOP TECHNOLOGY

Learn the BMW workshop systems TIS, AIR, ISTA and warranty systems used at all BMW dealerships.

CHASSIS TECHNOLOGY

Learn about BMW suspension systems, alignment procedures, wheels and tires, braking system diagnosis and repairs, and on-car brake lathes.

ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY

Learn the BMW-approved procedures to diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems. Understand BMW wiring diagrams and how to use V cables and breakout boxes.

DRIVETRAIN TECHNOLOGY

Learn about BMW engines and technology, variable valve-train systems, direct high-pressure fuel systems, turbocharging, and diagnosis procedures.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR FASTTRACK

FastTrack gives you the extensive BMW-specific training that hiring managers look for. To qualify for the program, you need to be a high school graduate or have your GED. You'll also need to complete one of the following:

Core Program Training
All Automotive Courses except: DADA-102, DADA-109, DADA-129, DADA-135, DADA-203

Core Program Training: Technology II
All Automotive courses except AT12-150, AT12-151, AT12-203, AT12-204

Core Program Training: NASCAR Tech campus only
All automotive technology courses except ADTA-125, ADTA-135, ADTN-140 and ADTN-141
