Aviation Technician

Collision Repair

Repair and refinish damaged vehicles from the frame up. In this completely hands-on program, you’ll learn to bring wrecked cars back to life with the same tools and techniques used in real body shops. This program is a good fit for mechanically inclined creatives.

Diesel

Learn to service heavy-duty engines in a hands-on setting.18 Get specialized skills for big commercial trucks, construction machinery, generators and more. In less than one year, you’ll learn what employers are looking for and prepare to test for ASE certification.7

HVACR Technician

Train to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You’ll learn to work with electrical components, diagnose issues and follow OSHA and EPA standards in hands-on labs that reflect the real field.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Build skills for a high-tech career in less than a year. Through focused instruction and hands-on practice, you'll learn to service the machines that keep manufacturing and energy plants running. If you like learning how machines work, this is a good path for you.

Electrical, Electronics, & Industrial Technology

Practice wiring, troubleshooting and repairing the high-tech electrical systems found in residential and commercial buildings.131 From helping wire cable systems to setting up smart security, you’ll have what it takes to pursue an innovative career.

Boat Repair

Learn how to keep boats, personal watercraft and marine engines running. From rigging to outboard motors, you can get specialized skills needed to launch a career on the water in less than a year, all while getting hands-on with brands like Mercury Marine and Suzuki!7,18

Non-Destructive Testing

Learn to inspect aircraft, pipelines and other infrastructure using advanced techniques that detect flaws others can’t see. You’ll practice methods like magnetic particle, ultrasonic and radiographic testing to prep for critical work with a lasting impact.

Robotics

Welding

Learn the four major arc welding processes and build skills used in construction, shipbuilding, pipelines and beyond. You'll practice in an individual welding booth and get one-on-one guidance from instructors so you can graduate prepared for a career.

Wind Turbine

Train for a career that’s anything but average. In this program, you’ll learn what it takes to service the towering wind turbines that help generate clean energy. Your courses will range from wind turbine operation to climb and rescue. This path is for adventurers!

NASCAR & Motorsports

UTI Mooresville is the only campus in the country to offer NASCAR-endorsed 48-week automotive training, with NASCAR Engines Performance courses and a 15-week elective as an option for those who have completed the core automotive program. Students learn topics such as fabrication and welding, engines and pit crew essentials.24
