In cooperation with Roush Yates, a leading brand in the performance industry, students learn everything from reading blueprints and interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to the programming, setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills.

As part of the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) family of schools, NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) began operating under the UTI brand in April 2025.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not publish entry-level salary data. However, the 25th and 10th percentile of hourly earnings in North Carolina are $19.90 and $17.29, respectively. 45) For Computer Numerically Controlled Tool Operators, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects an annual average of 15,200 job openings between 2023 and 2033. Job openings include openings due to net employment changes and net replacements.
