Located between Los Angeles and San Bernardino, California, Rancho Cucamonga has fewer than 200,000 residents. But it is growing, and with this growth and its location at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, Rancho Cucamonga offers a variety of opportunities
for racing enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a current student at UTI’s campus in Rancho Cucamonga or are thinking about taking the Automotive,
Diesel, Welding, Wind, Industrial Maintenance,
or Robotics & Automation programs, you’ve come to the right place. Follow along as we share some of the top racetracks and racing opportunities near Rancho Cucamonga to enjoy when you need a study break:
Interested in testing your reaction time under the staging lights? Wondering what’s more important, power or traction? Come test yourself and your vehicle at Auto Club Dragway. The complex
is located about 10 miles from campus in Fontana, making it a perfect place to visit when you have some downtime. Schedules and information can be found on the track’s website.
Located about 20 miles from campus, Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino is a quarter-mile, paved-oval track. Racing enthusiasts come from around the state to watch Street Stock, Mini
Stock, Figure 8 and more.
About 35 miles southwest of UTI Rancho Cucamonga is Perris Auto Speedway. This half-mile, clay-oval track hosts Figure 8, Demo Cross, Mini Stock and more.
Auto Club Speedway in Fontana hosts everything from NASCAR to autocross. The main course is a two-mile, D-shaped oval, but they have options for other types of racing as well.
Adams Motorsports Park is about 20 miles from campus and has something for fans of all types of racing, including go-karts, drifting, supermoto and more. This Riverside racing facility
has something going on every day of the week and even offers a racing academy for those who want to step up their racing game.
Located about 35 miles from campus, Irwindale Speedway hosts drag racing and drift racing. From Thursday Night Thunder events to NASCAR race series, there’s always something going on

Last but certainly not least, K1 Speed hosts indoor electric go-kart racing for kids and adults. The Ontario location is about 5 miles from campus and offers two challenging tracks, a paddock lounge
restaurant, a video arcade, tabletop games and more.
