Automotive Technology Training Program

Our 51-week core program trains you to troubleshoot, service and repair both domestic and foreign cars. You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of how engines work, and then progress into power, performance and the advanced technology of today’s vehicles.

Our hands-on labs are state-of-the-industry classrooms where you’ll find equipment and instructors ready to prepare you for a great career as a well-paid automotive technician.

Core Program Length

The Automotive Technology core program is 51 weeks long. Classes start approximately every 6 weeks. Contact your preferred campus for the next available session.

Electives

In addition to your 51-week core program, you can also learn more specific expertise with certain manufacturers. Not all campuses offer these electives. Please contact your preferred campus to determine which electives are available.

MSAT Post-graduate Programs

After graduation from UTI, you can apply for acceptance into the high-demand Manufacturer Specific Advanced Training (MSAT) programs. These prepare you to be a service technician for the following high-profile vehicles. Visit the MSAT site to determine which campuses offer these programs.
