Scholarships don’t need to be repaid. There are thousands of them available, offered by companies, individuals, nonprofit groups and many other organizations.
Each scholarship has its own requirements, so be sure to review them to determine if you qualify. When you find one that looks right for you, read the application carefully, fill it out completely and meet the deadline.
Some excellent scholarship opportunities are offered exclusively to our students. More than $15 million in sponsored scholarships were made available to UTI students in 2016.1

To improve your chances of submitting a successful scholarship application, take these tips:
- Prep - During the application process, you’ll be asked to answer questions about yourself – everything from your work experience and education background to your hobbies and interests. Make a short list in advance of the key facts that tell your story.
- Search - Scholarships are available from many sources. In addition to checking out the UTI Scholarship web page, look for other scholarship resources online and in your community.
- Match - Try to focus on the scholarships that match your background best, taking into consideration eligibility requirements, deadlines and award amounts.
- Apply - When you’ve determined which scholarships interest you, it’s time to apply. Be sure to follow the directions and submit your application on time.
