UTI STUDENT PROFILE - ARLO RINGSMUTH

In order to get a job in this industry, you have to go to MMI. There isn’t another equivalent school where you have the top five manufacturers look at you and say okay, this guy’s ready to come into a shop and start working today. Going to MMI was breaking ground on a new career, and a new outlook on life.

The employment office was really good. They could do a lot of things that I wasn’t particularly familiar with. They helped me out with job hunting. When I was in school, they helped me find work to help pay the bills. I couldn’t write a resume to save my life. They brought us in and sat us down and showed us how to write a resume and explained how our skills would play over into the actual job market.
