UTI’s Smog elective is designed to give you the skills you need to take the California State Smog license exam on your way to becoming a certified emissions technician. Smog technicians are licensed to inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair and certify the emissions control systems on vehicles in compliance with California State Smog requirements. Graduates earn Certificates of Completion in the four technical areas required to register for the state of California Smog license exam.

Program Length: 9-weeks*

Program Highlights:
