Universal Technical Institute, Inc. has been training entry-level technicians and working with industry to fulfill the shortage of trained technicians for nearly 40 years.
The Shortage of Trained Technicians is a Reality...
Many experienced technicians leave the industry every year - often right when you can least afford it. New hires can be expensive and time consuming and create training issues for your existing staff. Most importantly, technician turnover inhibits one of the most profitable areas of your business – your service department.

On-campus interviewing provides employers access to a large number of qualified applicants for immediate as well as future positions. Employers have the opportunity to interview top students before they graduate and go to work for someone else. Their presence on campus creates a heightened awareness among the student population of the company's standards, requirements, and the quality employment opportunities they have to offer.
