Industry demand for professional technicians is strong and UTI is a market leader in meeting this demand. More than 140,000 professional technicians have graduated from UTI in its 45 year history. We are proud that 4 out of 5 UTI graduates gain employment within their chosen field during the first 12 months after graduation.
The success of our graduates has afforded UTI the opportunity to partner with many leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the auto, diesel, motorcycle and marine industries. At present, UTI delivers 27 industry specific programs that involve 17 different OEM alliances throughout its network of 11 campuses. Creating new industry relationships helps to drive student growth and increase our capacity utilization. These alliances also significantly enhance the learning opportunities for our students and expand their career options. Industry interest for trained technicians continues to remain strong; and, at UTI, we will continue to seek new business opportunities with industry that will benefit our students and enhance our business model.
