About Financial Aid
Financial aid is assistance from government and private sources to students to help pay for their education costs. Most students utilize a combination of aid types, such as grants, scholarships and student loans. The financial aid process may feel time consuming, but we’re here to help you (and your parents) throughout the process.
To determine whether you qualify for financial aid, you must:
- Complete your income taxes. You must have your tax forms or estimated tax information from the previous year to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA form determines what types of aid you are qualified to receive. Fill out a FAFSA.
If you qualify for aid, you’ll receive an Estimated Award Letter with instruction on how to acquire your aid.
